Woot Tutor works with children in grades 5 – 12. If your child is below grade-level, at grade-level, or above grade-level, our tutors will tailor their instruction and the curriculum they use to meet your child’s needs. If there are specific goals or topics that you want the tutor to focus on, we will work with you and your child to support those priorities.
The honest answer is maybe. Often students that do well in math, fail to learn the underlying concepts, and even advanced math students can benefit by deepening their understanding. It is common for students to repeat a problem after being shown how to solve it without understanding the concepts. Our tutors focus on building that conceptual understanding and this can often benefit students that are doing well on homework and assignments. If you request to have the same tutor each session, we will do our best to schedule you with them. The best way to get the same tutor is to schedule in advance.
We understand that sometimes things come up, and your child won’t be able to keep their scheduled tutoring session. When that happens, we just ask that you give us 24 hours notice so that we can let their tutor know. You can review our attendance and cancellation policies here.
You can cancel at anytime, and we will refund the remaining portion based on your usage.

All of our tutors are hand-selected by our team, and all of our tutors are great math teachers. We go through a detailed interview process, including observing the tutors in practice session. All tutors also have an up-to-date background check.
