SAT PACKING LIST

The night before the SAT, gather these things together. In the morning you are likely to be nervous and forgetful.

Four items you have to have:

  • A valid Photo ID
  • Your Admission ticket
  • No. 2 pencils with erasers (no mechanical pencils)
  • Calculator (see policy, here)
Other items you might want to bring to the SAT
  • Extra No. 2 pencils and a small handheld pencil sharpener
  • Extra batteries for your calculator
  • A drink and a snack. The SAT is a long test. Don’t skip your snack break. It will help you stay hydrated, energized, and focused. Plan to bring a pre-packaged snack, like a granola bar, and a bottle of water, juice, or sports drink.
  • A watch (without an audible alarm or noises) – not a smartwatch
  • Tissues
  • A bag or backpack
  • Sweatshirt, sweater, or jacket
  • An epi-pen if you have a prescription
    (allergies to tests don’t count!)
